Residence Inn Fort Lauderdale Completes Renovation, Launches new Bar and Dining Options

Fort Lauderdale, FL – February 2025 – The Residence Inn Fort Lauderdale Airport & Cruise Port, owned by Apple REIT, Inc and managed by LBA Hospitality, has completed an extensive renovation designed to enhance guest comfort and introduce exciting new amenities. The hotel celebrated the transformation with a ribbon-cutting event on February 4, 2025, welcoming community leaders, business partners, and local stakeholders to experience the refreshed property.
Originally opened in 2014, the Residence Inn Fort Lauderdale & Airport Cruise Port has long been a preferred choice for extended-stay travelers and cruise passengers. The renovation introduces refreshed design elements, updated flooring, and modern décor enhancements throughout the property, creating a more contemporary and welcoming atmosphere. A key addition to the guest experience is the new Double Queen Studio Suite, offering extra flexibility for travelers. One of the most anticipated upgrades is Anchors & Ales, a stylish new bar serving drinks and light fare, with convenient poolside service through a dedicated service window.
“We are excited to unveil the enhancements that make the Residence Inn Fort Lauderdale Airport & Cruise Port an even more exceptional destination,” said Erin Klinsport, General Manager. “The addition of Anchors & Ales, along with the refreshed design, reflects our commitment to creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests.”
Located near Port Everglades, Fort Lauderdale Beach, and Las Olas Boulevard, the hotel is ideally situated for both leisure and business travelers. Guests enjoy spacious suites with full kitchens, complimentary breakfast, and pet-friendly accommodations, along with the convenience of a complimentary airport shuttle with service to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL). Now, with the addition of Anchors & Ales, guests can also enjoy a relaxed social and dining experience, including poolside service through a dedicated service window.
“Expanding food and beverage offerings is a key focus for LBA, and we’re excited to bring that expertise to the Residence Inn Fort Lauderdale/Cruise Port,” said Farrah Adams, Chief Operating Officer at LBA Hospitality. “Anchors & Ales adds a new energy to the hotel, giving guests a welcoming space to unwind with a drink or grab a bite by the pool. Enhancements like this help create a more memorable stay, and we’re proud to support our ownership partners in elevating the guest experience.”
