The hotel celebrated the transformation with a ribbon-cutting event on February 4, 2025, welcoming community leaders, business partners, and local stakeholders to experience the refreshed property.
Originally opened in 2014, the Residence Inn Fort Lauderdale & Airport Cruise Port has long been a preferred choice for extended-stay travelers and cruise passengers. The renovation introduces refreshed design elements, updated flooring, and modern décor enhancements throughout the property, creating a more contemporary and welcoming atmosphere. A key addition to the guest experience is the new Double Queen Studio Suite, offering extra flexibility for travelers. One of the most anticipated upgrades is Anchors & Ales, a stylish new bar serving drinks and light fare, with convenient poolside service through a dedicated service window.
