Tracey Whiddon

As Benefits Manager, Tracey Whiddon ascribes to the professional philosophy that even if you cannot do great things, you can do small things in a great way. Her positivity, collaborative spirit and can-do attitude were inspired by her role model, her father, who encouraged Tracey to believe that you can accomplish anything you set your mind to.

Having joined the LBA Hospitality team in 2008, Tracey is responsible for the overall management of LBA’s benefit program for partnering properties. She also serves as the primary point of contact for property unemployment claims and administers FMLA and ADA for the LBA portfolio. Before beginning her career in hospitality, she worked as an office manager and a dental hygienist, gaining extensive experience in the benefits field filing insurance claims with a network of dental carriers.

Tracey earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from Troy University in Troy, Alabama, where she was offered a scholarship to play in the “Sound of the South” Marching Band. An artist at heart, she opened and operated her own florist shop for eight years and has received numerous awards for her creative floral designs.

An avid University of Georgia fan, Tracey loves cheering on the Bulldogs and spending time on her hobbies of catering, event planning and floral design. When she isn’t working on one of her side endeavors, Tracey often can be found relaxing with a good mystery novel or enjoying a “whodunit” movie on TV.
