STEVEN STEELFOX

Joining the LBA team in November 2023, Steven Steelfox assumed the role of Director of Engineering and Asset Protection.  Steven began a robust career spanning 12 years honing his skills in various hospitality organizations with hands-on roles in survey projects such as infrastructure installation and collaborations with mechanical contractors. His professional experience is complemented by certifications in areas including OSHA 30 and CPO.

Now, Steven leads the Regional Engineering team at LBA, ensuring each property adheres to brand and industry standards. His responsibilities encompass providing strategic direction, fostering innovation and communicating best practices. With his expertise, Steven aims to achieve optimal results, consistently protecting and enhancing assets. Moreover, he oversees capital projects, ensuring alignment with owner, brand and LBA guidelines.

Steven’s leadership philosophy reflects his dedication to building strong, collaborative teams. His mantra is encapsulated in the saying, “A team is not a group of people who work together. A team is a group of people who trust each other.”

If you walk by his desk, you may hear Steven—a proud University of Alabama fan—give a spirited “Roll Tide!” as he indulges in his favorite treats, Red Bull energy drinks, and anything peanut butter- chocolate. Steven cherished the opportunity to live and travel across the United States earlier in his career and now finds joy in the outdoors, with hobbies including fishing, hunting and camping. He also relishes exploring new eateries and hidden gems with his family.
