In an increasingly competitive lineup, Melanie works to develop and implement a showstopping digital sales and marketing strategy that keeps LBA and its portfolio of properties in the hospitality spotlight. It is a task that is part art and part science, but like any great performance, Melanie knows it is all about the audience.
Entering the industry at just 15 years of age, Melanie landed her first Sales Manager position at a live music and event venue in New York City’s Times Square, allowing her to follow her passion for both hospitality and the performing arts. Building on her sales experience, she joined LBA in 2012, working her way up from Sales Manager to become Director of Sales for Hilton Garden Inn Lafayette/Cajundome. She later became Director of Sales at Springhill Suites Lafayette before joining the LBA corporate team in 2018.
As the Regional Director of Digital Marketing, Melanie manages digital sales and marketing efforts for LBA’s growing collection of hotel properties. A Certified Hospitality Digital Marketer (CHDM) and Certified Hospitality Sales Professional (CHSP), she also monitors the latest trends and helps guide and train the company’s team of digital marketers.
Melanie spends much of her free time attending live concerts, musicals, plays, improv shows and art exhibits, sharing her passion for the arts with her husband and daughter. A devoted foodie, she enjoys connecting with friends and family over a good meal.
