Mary Rickert

Mary’s priority as Regional Director of Operations is to provide a positive influence on her team. As a mentor and a leader, she has followed the advice of her grandparents throughout her 23-year career with LBA, encouraging creativity, individuality and, above all, integrity among her associates.

Mary joined LBA in 1996, quickly discovering her passion for hospitality while working in guest services as a member of a new hotel opening team. Immediately drawn to the company’s values and culture, she committed herself to the LBA team, eventually working her way up to a General Manager position. Mary was recognized as Regional General Manager of the Year with Courtyard and led her team to two consecutive Marriott Courtyard Service Excellence Awards. Following her desire to help her associates grow and prosper, she became a training General Manager and provided opening support for new properties.

In her current role, Mary provides operational support to Marriott and Hilton properties in the LBA portfolio. She works in collaboration with regional directors to maximize each property’s performance, developing sales and revenue strategies to drive top-line revenue, and providing leadership development opportunities for associates.

A graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Mary exercises her own creativity through painting. She also enjoys gardening, antiquing and strolling local farmers and artisan markets.
