Martin “Marty” Reese began his career with LBA in March 2024, assuming the Regional Director of Digital Marketing role. With over 20 years of hospitality experience, he now spearheads digital marketing strategies across Marriott, Hilton, and IHG properties within the growing LBA portfolio of hotels.

Martin’s professional accolades include a CHDM certification from HSMAI and serving as a pivotal member of Marriott’s Revenue Management Franchise Team of the Year. Guided by the teachings of human behavior expert Dr. John Demartini, Martin advocates for gratitude and balance in both his personal and professional lives. He holds degrees in Criminology and Sociology from Ohio State University, which have enriched his understanding of human behavior and shaped his empathetic leadership approach.

A born entertainer, Martin created a TV show at age 12 and later worked at several top radio stations. His passion for voiceover and narration work has been a significant creative outlet throughout his 15-year career in the industry, and he aspires to eventually integrate this talent with his expertise in hospitality. Ever the adventurer, Martin enjoys exploring new destinations and uncovering hidden culinary treasures, mainly local hole-in-the-wall eateries. A little-known fact: He’s a severe weather enthusiast and a trained spotter for the National Weather Service.

While Martin finds fulfillment in his work, he always looks forward to “that Friday night feeling,” leading to a weekend of pizza, coffee, and quality time with his loved ones. Martin possesses a natural gift for connecting with others, effortlessly encouraging them to share their stories—a talent he treasures.
