KIM AUS

From raising five wonderful children to earning a promotion to Regional Director of Operations, Kim Aus consistently stands out in both her personal and professional lives. Kim believes that her diverse track record in sales and operations is the driving force behind her achievements in the hospitality industry. Her career in hospitality began in 2012 as a Director of Sales at a Hampton Inn, with her path to success paved by her earlier role as Sales Operations Manager for a handbag company in Iowa.

Joining the LBA team in January 2023 as Regional Director of Operations, Kim is responsible for overseeing the Maryland region of hotels and their overall operations. In addition to her career accomplishments, Kim is a Leadership Southern Maryland 2019 graduate and serves as Vice President of the St. Mary’s County Tourism Board.

Kim’s biggest role model is Janice Baldes (the owner of a previous company Kim worked for) who not only created a successful business but also provided jobs and opportunities for countless women while remaining a dedicated mother, wife and church member.

Outside of work, Kim enjoys gardening, cooking and entertaining, activities she considers heartwarming ways to spend her weekends. She stays busy with her bustling household, which includes three Goldendoodles.
