Frederica Blair-Burnett, LBA’s Safety & Risk Human Resource Manager, exemplifies the company’s core values of service without compromise and compassionate care for others. Her strong work ethic and heart for hospitality were both inspired by her parents, and she lives by legendary basketball coach John Wooden’s motivational adage, “If you don’t have time to do it right, when will you have the time to do it over?”

An experienced safety risk manager with a demonstrated history in hospitality, Frederica has served with LBA since 2004. In her current role, she manages all aspects of LBA’s corporate insurance program, including reporting and managing claims, administering the companywide Safety & Accident Prevention Program, conducting internal investigations, supporting associates and serving as liaison to property clients and insurance adjusters. Prior to taking on the role of Safety & Risk Manager, Frederica held the position of insurance administrator within the Human Resources team.

A Birmingham-Southern College graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Frederica is currently working toward her Professional in Human Resources, or PHR, certification. She brings more than 40 years of insurance and claims resolution experience to her role, enabling her to focus on driving claims to an efficient and cost-effective closure.

Born with a zest for travel and exploration, Frederica loves taking trips to new destinations. She also enjoys curling up with a good book and spending time with her family. Frederica resides in Dothan, Alabama, and can most often be found hanging out with loved ones and doting on her dogs.
