Emma Moore, CHDM
Described by her colleagues as dedicated, genuine, driven, and reliable, Emma Moore is highly regarded for her proactive approach and problem-solving abilities within the Digital Marketing team. Since joining LBA in January 2022 as the company’s first Digital Marketing Manager, Emma Moore has proven to be an essential resource for the corporate team and hotel associates. Driven by her willingness to learn and desire to “make things happen,” Emma is known for taking the initiative and identifying opportunities for improvement and growth in herself, her department, and all LBA hotels. She attributes her strong work ethic and belief in selfless service to the deep relationships she shares with her parents and grandmother, who have instilled these values in her and imparted a positive outlook on life.
Emma’s exceptional skills and dedication to professional growth have propelled her career. She earned her CHDM (Certified Hospitality Digital Marketer) certification in 2022, distinguishing her as an expert digital marketing professional. In 2023, Emma was selected as a member of the Rising Leaders Council by the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI), a unique opportunity for emerging professionals to advance their skill sets, shape the future of HSMAI, and advance the hotel digital marketing industry. Due to Emma’s growth and success, she was promoted to Corporate Manager of Digital Marketing in January 2024. In this role, Emma expands her expertise in navigating complex brand systems, lending strategic oversight for a small portfolio of hotels.
Emma’s commitment to growth and improvement is evident in her enthusiastic assistance with the development of the department’s first intern. With Emma’s mentorship, the intern was able to step into Emma’s position as a full-time associate when Emma was promoted. Property teams greatly appreciate Emma’s prompt and skillful resolution of digital issues, and she continues to train the new Digital Marketing Manager to uphold the same high standards.
Before joining LBA, Emma earned her bachelor’s degree in public relations and communications from the University of South Carolina. Her marketing career began as Marketing Coordinator for 360clean, a leading commercial janitorial company based in Charleston, South Carolina.
Outside of her professional life, you’ll find Emma soaking up the sun at the beach, boating at any opportunity, and attending live concerts whenever possible. At home, Emma loves spending time with her family, her boyfriend, and her lovable four-year-old tuxedo cat, Hooks.
Emma calls herself an “LBA for Lifer,” and LBA is certainly the better for it.
