Throughout her career, Dana has sought to learn something new every day, looking to mentors, colleagues, family and friends for inspiration to become the effective leader she is today. While overseeing financial performance, associate development and guest satisfaction for her region, she draws on her experiences to lead her team to reach their highest potential.
While still in college, Dana took her first job in hospitality, working as restaurant hostess at a full-service Holiday Inn. Eager to learn more about the industry, she joined Wright Investment Properties, where she was fortunate to work within every department during her 13-year tenure, learning valuable skills and insights she would use in future career endeavors. During her time at Wright Investment Properties, Dana won the General Manager of the Year award twice, as well as Hotel of the Year and the Quantum Leaper Award. Prior to joining LBA, she was Regional Vice President of Operations at Certified Hospitality, where she oversaw hotels in Mississippi and Louisiana.
With LBA since 2011, Dana now works closely with her hotel teams to help them more effectively achieve financial performance, guest service and associate relations standards. She focuses on ensuring each property embraces the LBA culture and team members are developing to their full potential. While at LBA, she has been awarded Hotel of the Year, as well as two Silver Awards and a Diamond Award from Marriott International.
A natural born globetrotter, Dana enjoys spending family time and traveling with her husband and three children. She also enjoys staying active by hiking or swimming.
