FAYETTEVILLE, NC – September 19, 2025 – The legacy of Easy Company, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division—brought to life in the Emmy Award-winning HBO miniseries Band of Brothers—was honored in Fayetteville, North Carolina this week, as descendants gathered for the 79th reunion.

The commemorative gathering included Remembering the Band of Brothers, a special program at the U.S. Army Airborne & Special Operations Museum (ASOM). Families of heroes portrayed in the series—including Mike Ranney, Eugene “Doc” Roe, Lynn “Buck” Compton, George Luz, Don Malarkey, Alex Penkala, Charles Rinehart, and Walter Gordon—came together to share stories and reflections that honored their fathers’ and grandfathers’ service.

“It’s humbling to stand alongside these heroes whose bravery continues to inspire generations,” said Beau Benton, president of LBA Hospitality. “We were proud to help ensure their time here was filled with warmth, respect, and lasting memories.”
