The Check-In with LBA: Featuring Amy Meshnick

What does LBA team spirit look like? Ask Amy Meshnick, Vice President of Revenue Management & Digital Marketing, who started at the company over 20 years ago at the hotel level. We checked in with Amy to chat about LBA’s people-first culture, the commitment to associate growth and development, and more.

Q: You’ve been with LBA for more than 20 years. What do you think sets LBA apart and makes it such a special place to work?

AMY: The people of LBA are what truly set it apart. Our tagline, “We stand out because of what’s inside,” is more than just words. It reflects how we work together, support one another, and build meaningful relationships. I always tell candidates that while we deliver strong results, what matters just as much is how someone fits into our team. That people-first mindset starts at the top—from Larry Blumberg personally greeting every associate, to the care and thoughtfulness Beau and Farrah show in how they lead, support, and grow this company.

Q: LBA has always prioritized smart, strategic growth. What’s one way we’re staying ahead in revenue management and digital marketing to keep delivering strong results for our hotels?

AMY: LBA has built outstanding revenue and digital teams that are respected across the industry. We stay ahead by investing in our people, supporting certifications like CRME and CHDM, providing best-in-class tools, and encouraging attendance at conferences and trainings. These opportunities keep our teams at the forefront of new trends and help them build valuable connections with industry peers

Q:  Collaboration is a big part of LBA’s success. How do different departments—like revenue management, operations, digital marketing, and sales—work together to create a winning strategy?

AMY: Open communication and respect across disciplines are key to our success. Our regional teams work together to support each hotel, mentoring property leaders and executing within their areas of expertise. While each discipline—revenue, ops, sales, digital marketing—has clear responsibilities, we avoid silos by encouraging shared feedback and frequent collaboration. That teamwork makes all the difference

Q:  As LBA’s biggest cheerleader, what’s one moment in your career that made you especially proud to be part of the team?

AMY: It’s impossible to choose just one moment!  I’m genuinely proud to be part of LBA every single day. Watching our teams deliver results and enjoy working together is something special. I often say I’m an “LBA lifer,” and I mean it. I couldn’t imagine a better place to grow, belong, and thrive
