JOEL RODRIGUEZ

As Regional Engineering Manager, Joel is responsible for leading the engineering team for 30 of LBA’s hotel properties. Through training and mentorship, Joel and his team are able to provide a quality guest experience.

Before joining LBA in 2017, Joel spent 15 years in the healthcare industry, where he learned life safety standards, proper construction and maintenance, and developed his keen eye for detail. A Master Electrician, he studied basic electronics at Austin Community College and earned his CIT Biomedical Certification and G.E. Medical Cath Lab Administrator Certification.

Serving others and his community is very important to Joel, a trait passed down from his father, who selflessly volunteered his time for the military color guard. Joel currently serves as a board member for Victoria Area Music Association (VAMA) and previously sat on the board of the Texas Zoo and Victoria County Historical Commission.

Joel cherishes time spent with his family and enjoys live music and weekend barbecuing.
